I’ve been watching the Helck anime, but I’m not entirely sold on it so far. Did you think the manga got better as it went on, or is the intro about the peak in quality?
Reason I liked it a lot is the character development. It’s definitely not the most flashy or a storyline that will have you at the edge of your seat. But it has good story pacing and really shows some great aspects of internal struggle that they turned into entertaining situations.

It got better as it went on, in my opinion. I liked it from the start though, so YMMV
