Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday told African leaders he would gift them tens of thousands of tons of grain within months despite Western sanctions, which he said made it harder for Moscow to export its grain and fertilisers.
As much as I think Russia is a hellish pit that radiates evil, even I recognize that the intentionally fragile global economy requires Russian grain to flow freely if we don’t want half of Africa (and probably part of Douth America) straight up federating with Russia.
In other words “nobody wants to buy the grain I stole from Ukraine”.
Even worse, the sanctions don’t even apply to grain exports.

Yes, I’m saying that I hold my nose and agree with the sanctions not applying to grain exports
But they sure have made it harder to export it and transport it.
