      Depends on jurisdiction. I have some relatives that owns property in NYC and Philadelphia and they spent over a year trying to evict the tenant when tenant refused to pay. And even with tens of thousands of dollars of judgement being awarded to the landlord relative, they basically couldn’t actually get anything since the tenants didn’t have enough income to garnish, so my relative ended up getting nothing from the judgement. States/cities controlled by Democrats are usually very tenant-friendly. Now if you live in a red state as a tenant… yea that’s gonna be rough for a tenant.
