Pretty much used the scientific method on your own memory You basically said “I might be wrong but I want to test my knowledge. Whoops, turns out I was wrong! Here is the result” You could have doubled down and made excuses or straight up deleted your comment but no, you called yourself out. If anything, you should be proud lol
