minus-square@GRENADE_MAGNETOPlinkEnglish6•1 year agoIt is at sunset but I think the term is due to them appearing opposite of the sun. This pic was taken facing East with the sun setting in the West. Crepuscular rays are a thing too but appear in the same direction as the sun.
