This is one of the bands I was always recommended since I was into REM and whatnot, but it never connected for me… but that was a long time ago, time to try again!
Lol I don’t know if I’d ever recommend ATDI to an REM fan… Seems like a bit of a leap. But in a weird way, it sorta makes sense. I had a buddy who referred to ATDI as “metal-core-emo” and it always made me laugh.
I was a big fan of these guys when I was younger and more into punk and post hardcore stuff. But every once in a while I come back to their more mellow songs like this one.
