I’ve been running Ash Prime in Steel Path just fine, it’s a blast. The only thing I keep running into (literally) are toxic clouds that kill me pretty quickly. Other elements don’t affect Ash that way, just the toxin. Should I mod him for resistance to it or just use Rolling Guard/Adaptation? Rolling Guard has been working okay but I still have to stay away from toxin clouds as much as possible.
Toxin bypasses shields and your shield gate. It’s an issue for lots of frames in SP.
If the problem is the damage over time from the status effect, Rolling Guard and/or Arcane Resistance helps with that. But those don’t protect against direct damage, e.g. if a Toxic Ancient hits you. The mods Antitoxin and Toxin Resistance (aura) can help with that, but I’ve never used them, I don’t know how effective they are. And of course staying invisible and not getting hot.
