Islamic State on Monday claimed responsibility for the suicide bombing of a political rally in northwest Pakistan held by a religious group allied to the government as the death toll from the attack rose to 45.

The bomber struck at a gathering on Sunday of the conservative Jamiat Ulema Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) party, which is known for its links to hardline Islamists but which condemns militants seeking to overthrow the Pakistani government.

Yeah, same old. The religion of peace(that worships a warlord)(that still hasn’t had a reformation)(that is responsible for Al Qaeda, Taliban, and ISIS) is just being peaceful again.

Uh… I’ll have to point out the Irish potsto famine (if you’re Christian) and literally every communist regime out there (if you’re atheist). But, more importantly, Islam never actually claims to be a religion of peace. Islam emphasizes fighting back against injustice (not saying that’s what ISIS and crew are doing) and discourages turning the other cheek. So… Yeah, get your islamophobia right.

Islam never claims to be a religion of peace… Except for the legions of real life muslims that insist on that very exact same thing, so much so as to have it on banners during protests.
