Ah, got it. That probably wouldn’t be ideal in humid areas right? Our AC basically functions partially/mostly like a dehumidifier durring the summer months. Without it, the humidity in the house is unbearable.
The one place I lived that had a whole house fan was in a “humid contental” zone with hot summers and year round precipitation. It worked pretty well in concert with the AC, especially in the spring and fall when it’s not so humid.
