I would say I mostly agree with the authors of the video.

One thing I do is tha I pass with red in some particular cases because it improves my safety. Specifically if I know the crossing and if there is a turn right lane that has green before the straight one. I will go straight to half of the crossing to not stay in the lane waiting with fast cars passing me on the right.

    Yep, I’m in the U.S.A. and this is what I learned from my biker family when I was a kid in the seventies. I’m glad to see that the rules are still pretty much the same.

    Now, if we could just get more people to actually understand them, that would be progress. I don’t know how it is in the rest of the world, but they don’t teach biking etiquette in school here in the USA. At least, they didn’t when I went through the system. And I’ve seen no indication they’ve changed since.
