Anything you like.

Jokes, games, puzzles, random discussions.

There are just two rules.

Rule 1 - No politics. I don’t care what is going on in the world, what is going on in your country. You leave it at the door.

Rule 2 - Be polite. If you can’t be nice to your fellow NaNos, go somewhere else. We are here for the fun and the craic, not to beat each other over the head.

My usual approach to NaNo is to leave it until mid October and then think about a story.

What surprised me this year - as you’ll have gathered - was the fact NaNo isn’t a thing any more, at least not in the way it’s been for the last 20 years I’ve been doing it. So mostly the past day or so has been about that instead of the story :)

        I hadn’t gathered that, because I’m oblivious!

Well, maybe I’ll still try to do nanowrimo anyways? Or forget about it and go ohhh nooooo halfway through the month!

As you’ll have gathered I’m going ahead with it because I got all excited about it and planned out a story (see another post within this community) and it seems a waste not to. Plus I really don’t have a lot else to do - my life is not that full of things.

I just thought I’d keep the community going in case anyone else wanted to join me, and didn’t want to use any of the multitude of other sites that have sprung up in the wake of the official site closing down.
