First of all, It’s not good for her to make such a statement (publicly) since it’d reflect on her being the MTRCB chair whether she intends it or not, whether she likes it or not.
Secondly, it is irrelevant as you’ve pointed out. Whether or not it is normal in their household isn’t what matters here but whether or not it is the standard that the MTRCB holds for lewdness, and judges TV shows and movies against.
