As an important note. The last part applies to all groups. Thats why diversity is very important!
In society at large, sure, but as long as there are marginalised people they, we, should be allowed spaces just for ourselves away from those who oppress us (even if not directly/intentionally, being part of an oppressive group means benefiting from it).
