Sports teams are the toys of the ultra rich. They may occasionally pretend they care about the fans. They pretend to care about “the community”. They are a leach on society and the players they employ. They have the perfect grift,they hav convinced the public that they deserve billions in handouts while somehow vilifying their employees from asking for fair wages and guaranteed contracts. I hope someday someone much smarter than me can come up with a player-owned co-op.
