I was expecting more people to be here once the Lather Games were over, but I totally forgot about Austere August. Are most of the users still over at reddit for AA?

Also, how were the LGs this year?

I guess so: there are competitions, and prices to be won.

That’s disappointing. I don’t think I’ll go back, which I guess means no more shaving community for me. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.

I’m off Reddit for good as well. Maybe be like me and join the Discord server if you’re missing the shaving community and don’t feel like going back to Reddit. It’s also nice to stop reading so much about wetshaving which really cuts down on the FOMO and the shaving purchases. I’ve been really enjoying the stuff I have and I’m also working on killing more soaps which is nice.

That’s an interesting idea, I’ve never used discord. I’ve mostly done a good job over the years of not going crazy with my purchases, but the temptation was always there, so good call on that.

Lather Games were a success, IMO. The top twenty or so participants really brought their A game.
