    1. As long as billionaire tech-bros have a stranglehold on this tech, it will be shit.

    2. Taking pictures and video in public is fast becoming taboo.

    3. AI is the problem now, not the solution, in many people’s view.

    I suppose they’ll keep adding sugar to the shit till enough people eat it, then they’ll take away the sugar.

      For your second point I’d say it has been and continues to be taboo but it’s still TBD whether the social pressure against these devices wins out or if people start just accepting it. These devices are less obvious than someone holding a phone to record and they try to reduce the concerns with the indicator light so I’m not sure how things will turn out especially since most people already accepted stuff like always on microphones and their exact location being recorded at all times.

      I definitely agree with your first point as far as privacy concerns go. I’ve already seen Meta talk about how they’d like the cameras to just stay on permanently as soon as they have the battery life for that.
