I agree that cryopreservation is not an everyday topic yet, and even for most it’s fans (including me) it is more an acquired taste. Most of us really don’t “want” to be cryopreservated - we just prefer that to cremation or grave… Cryo give some hope based on educated guess.
When it comes to the state of society after reviving: It is probable that the society that would revive you honor and value human life enough to bring back preserved people. Apocalyptic society probably would not use its resources for that. Does it eliminate fully such possibility? No. But it diminishes it significantly.
Just wait until they start offering a free month trial…
