there is currently a form of tree or bush growing at my wife’s grave. well its my grave too. she died at 41. It’s pushing on the stone so I don’t know what to do.
I’ll say this. When the time comes will you need to remove the tree for you? If so just remove it now. It’s far too often not considered a problem of placement untill you have a well established 40plus year old tree that has taken over an entire space. It just gets harder to deal with the longer and older you let it get.
trunk and root. it’s more of a bush. i had the folks cut it down and it grew back so i may just … leave it an see if it gets an old graveyard feel. /shrug

Branch, trunk or root pushing on the stone? If it’s a branch then cut that branch off. If not, bit harder
