    I mean, if you cast your mind back to the story, God had no idea that they had done it, until he saw them. This was yahweeh before he was later made into the omnificent version. He fully intended to keep them there, as is.

    As we also all know from science, the more different variables we add, the less likely that will be. Even just a few, let alone the billions of tiny changes it would be if it happened even a day later. It would like the butterfly effect but infinitely greater.

      There are some, perhaps somewhat unorthodox, Christian theologies that hold that the Old Testament stuff and what was allowed to happen as more of the planning and scheming of God to reach the desired end goal. Including temporarily limiting itself to order to get there.
