Problem is 1. Captialism has proven to work well whe done correctly and 2. nobody has ever presented an alternative which doesn’t devolve into autocracy.

Capitalism has proven to work well when done correctly

Define “work well”, and for whom?

Nobody has ever presented an alternative which doesn’t devolve into autocracy.

Nobody has ever been given the opportunity to try an alternative without those who benefit from capitalism and the status quo throwing absolutely everything they can at it to ensure it will fail.

Are you even partially aware of the extreme lengths just the US has gone to in order to sabotage attempts at an alternative system? I’m no tankie, but the more I learn about the measures taken by capitalists, the more I empathize with the paranoia and crackdowns that lead to autocracies in some of those countries. I find it hard to think of a rational response to sanctions combined with rebels and propaganda funded by any remaining wealthy capitalists already in your country and virtually endless state actors hoping to topple your government and install a capitalist-friendly government.

      So, if your point is…

“Nobody has ever presented an alternative which doesn’t devolve into autocracy thanks to capitalist influence and sabotage” then yeah, sure, whatever, I agree. It’s just a stupid point.

Finland is the best exaple. High wages, happiest country in the world 8 years in a row, ability to tour Europe, protection gaurantee from EU and NATO. The lowest people in Finland live a better life than the median in China or the USA.

The USA, Russia, and China all go to extreme lengths in an endless proxy war, which will continue until the aggressors all die out. Which is why it’s so strange to see people rail against the widespread economic system used in every nation around the globe and not the specific corrupt parties causing all of our problems.
