    The last thing we need is for people’s encounters with the police to be even deadlier.

    People need to take responsibility for their choices. If you get me sick because of some foolish reason for avoiding a safe easy prevention, you should be held responsible, as should your employer. This would clearly not be accidental but reckless endangerment.

    Since there’s really no way to hold people responsible, especially ahead of time, I’m all for mandatory vaccination of anyone who I don’t have the choice to avoid

      I lost one friend to COVID, and one friend to the mandates. If I squint and pretend “muh freedom” is the only thing that matters, I can sorta see their complaint, but also fuck 'em. When it comes to infectious, deadly diseases, I’m OK with mandates: Everyone wears a mask in public, and when a vaccine’s available everyone gets jabbed, unless they’re staying at home 24/7.
