The official minimising this by saying “A small group of employees treated the firehouse like a frat house.” is ridiculous. No, a small group of employees tortured and abused a colleague. The alleged behaviour was insane and came from trained professionals - EMT and Fire officers. It’s not reassuring when an official minimises it like this - they should instead be asking what the hell has gone wrong in their organisation and what do they fix, not seemingly suggest this would be OK behaviour in another context.
