      Probably because there are thousands of homes sitting empty with ridiculous price tags due to corporate landlords buying every available property and hiking prices by creating artificial scarcity?

      Or we could invest in the social programs that prevent homelessness from happening to begin which will slowly reduce the homeless population in and of itself.

          Ah yes let me use the money I make that’s barely enough to survive and start buying houses at ridiculously over inflated prices so I can fix homelessness.

          Meanwhile the people who inflict pain on the homeless who have the money to fix it continue to laugh at you for thinking the homeless are to blame for where they are.

          Your type of thinking is why it continues.
