Ateneo de Manila University claims the title of the best university in the Philippines based on the Times Higher Education (THE) Asia University Rankings 2023.
As I mentioned before, this is due to the citations rating pulling up their overall ranking. Check out their page for Ateneo. Their citation score is at 97 but their research score is at around 10.
One of my guesses would be Psychology since Liane Alampay was part of the Parenting and Child Adjustment across Cultures research project. This was a project that is essentially the most prominent study on the use of physical discipline. She was probably automatically co-author in a lot of the project’s publications.
