Good, they somehow managed to fuck up VII in the process of making it a trilogy cash grab. But they waited till after the first game released to make the egregious changes to get that first round of millions, so sales of the second abomination were terrible in comparison.
Why just remake the game when they can make it a trilogy and get 3x as much money from people? And instead of just giving people the remake they wanted and were promised, you make pointless changes and fuck it up in the process.
It’s classic modern AAA studios and publishers. Not sure why anyone thought SQUARE (out of any company) would be immune from that.
