Canadian Muslims are planning a "Million Person March" in Ottawa to protest against the push for LGBT ideology in schools. The protest, organized by Muslim activist Kamel El-Cheikh, aims to bring together Canadians of all faiths to stand against the indoctrination of children with LGBT ideology.
A few years back, especially after the war in Iraq, people on the left were defending Muslims and telling people to not judge them and accept their culture.
I guess no one told them that they should do the same.
Now in more recent years as some of these Muslims have fled their repressive conservative governments, they’ve gone to the US and Canada and Germany and the UK as well as other fairly progressive countries. Instead of immigrating to those countries and assimilating to their cultures, many of these people have tried to push their views onto the people there. There have been stories of right wing Muslims having the gall to tell folks in the UK that they should cover up on the beach and elsewhere. There have been attacks in Germany and elsewhere in Europe by Muslims who have tried to impose their backwards ideas onto native Europeans. Now this.
Ah, funny how the tables have turned.
