But even opening downloads dir from Firefox opens the new window by default, if I’m not wrong right now. I just stopped using that feature because of that. But I doubt it’s fixed.

It’s quite similar to what I want. Not exactly, but today’s situation is just wrong. I open two paths and each is a new window. I’d love to have the option to just add tabs to my current window. But at least having a set of paths to be opened in one window, instead of one window for each path, it’s just useless.
