The game is very much built for co-op but the singleplayer isn’t bad. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re going to exclusively play singleplayer unless you’re up for a challenge, but the game does give you a little helper robot if you’re playing solo. That said finding games with random people has been pretty seamless in this game so I don’t really see why you’d be playing singleplayer.
You can solo it. You get a robot that acts as a second team member to help you and revive you if you die (you can only be revived 3 times I think by the robot?)
It’s much better in a full team but you can absolutely play solo and that is how I have played most of my time in game and how I have farmed most of the season events.

I see thanks, I’m not necessarily against co-op but I just like the idea of spelunking the caves by myself.
