Heard this. Tried to rent heavy equipment from Home Depot and was asked to scan a QR code, couldn’t rent it without. But it was a blessing in disguise, found a small family business near by that was cheaper and better equipment. Had the same issue with restaurant menus, fuck that shit, got up and left.
