Just discovered and joined this community recently. I don’t have any “formal” education in design work, but do enjoy UI/UX on the software side of things.
I have my own Home Assistant instance and have been learning CSS to design a dashboard that’s acceptable enough for my wife to use.
And I’ve been using (very limited) resources in Sharepoint to design a team intranet page at work for sharing resources and information.

That’s great. The world is so full of easily accessible resources that formal education is so much less important.
