I just saw a video on Facebook. Supposedly, a health care worker is being interviewed and indicates ICE is dropping people off in the middle of the woods without proper clothing, their phone, or their ID. Some of the people being dropped in the woods are also injured and in need of medical care. The only info I can find about this is via Facebook and Instagram. I am wondering if anyone knows of actual news reports about this from reputable journalists? Obviously my knee jerk reaction is disgust. There is already plenty of evidence out there to condem ice for. If I’m going to hate on them, I want the facts rather than a random vid from social media. Does anyone have verifiable facts related to this rumor?

There’s been a lot of documentation of ICE detaining people and dropping them off intentionally a long distance from where they were picked up, as well as ICE actually kicking people out of Whipple as soon as they’re released, without the opportunity to contact anyone, leaving them to fend for themselves in life-threateningly cold temperatures. Plus, the practice of cops “taking people for a ride” as part of institutionalized racial terror goes way back. So it’s entirely plausible that in the woods is one of the various intentionally distant and inconvenient locations they’ve been leaving people.

Keep in mind as well that media are plenty busy covering the murders by ICE, ICE trying to invade the Ecuadorian Embassy, enormous protests, 3 million pages of new Epstein files, Trump trying to take over Greenland, Trump invading Venezuela and kidnapping a foreign head of state… There’s just a lot to cover. ICE is absolutely leaving people hoping they end up hospitalized or dead and this is known and documented. The media just might not have time and room to cover all the details of where people are being left. They’re also not covering all the instances of ICE invading people’s cars without a warrant. 3-4 months ago that sort of thing was news. A day or two ago a car was found apparently shot into, invaded, and the driver taken and I don’t think it made the mainstream news. There wasn’t a body, or blood found, so I guess if it doesn’t bleed it doesn’t lead I guess, or even make the news, because Minneapolis is flooded with so much going on. So, I’m guessing that could be why people being dropped off in the woods isn’t being covered.
