A federal judge cited two Gospel verses in his order releasing five-year-old Liam Conejo Ramos and his father, who had been detained by immigration agents in a Minneapolis suburb and sent to a Texas family detention center.

The verses the judged cited were:

Matthew 19:14 - “Let the children come to me, and do not prevent them; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

John 11:35 - “And Jesus wept.”

    Probably mad and confused. Some might even crack open that bible and read, but not many. And those who do will be certain the judge had misinterpreted the meaning.
