I’m over the hate for papers, at least they are regulated and people have to purchase them. An informed and material cost choice with no algorithms constantly feeding the user really bad shit. They are in many, many ways more preferable than facebook, twitter, or tik-tok
But I’m also surprised they are still being made in this world of hate-as-a-service
I do mean gutter-crawling tabloids rather than papers in general - specifically as these are Reach Plc ones, which also have a big online presence - but yeah no disagreement from me about them not being the biggest problem
