My parents are throwing me a huge party, my dad’s idea, of course, and it’s nonnegotiable because he wants his business partners and rich friends to show up with gifts. At the time, it was barely worth $500, but now, if it had a nice paint job on it, it would probably be worth enough for a down payment on a house.
