My first car was a 1986 Renault alliance with a manual 5 speed, crank windows, and no radio. It was given to me by my father after he put 120k miles on it. I went on to put another 130k on it. I learned to drive stick on that car. 250 thousand miles and I never had to change the clutch. I don’t know what it was made out of but it was indestructible. I had to change the clutch cable 6 times, but despite being the vehicle what I learned to drive stick on, it was indestructible. It also got 45+ miles per gallon it’s whole life. When it finally died, it blew a piston out the side of the motor. It was ugly and uncomfortable but I loved that little car and I would absolutely buy another 1986 Renault alliance. I would also take the x8a prototype as my daily driver but I doubt the clutch is quite as bulletproof.
I wanted to come in here and say something like “maybe a Mrs. Renault said that a few times” but then Louis Renault turns out to apparently be a gigantic piece of shit human, so maybe not.
When has anyone said they love their Renault?

Apparently Clio RS addiction is like an airborne thing, some people just can’t get enough of them. Also they gave us the new A110 which is neat
