To try to justify waging war on Iran, Donald Trump claimed Tehran was supposedly on the verge of launching “imminent” attacks on the US. This was a blatant lie. The Pentagon admitted in a closed-door briefing to Congress that there was NO EVIDENCE that Iran planned to attack US forces first. Tehran only had plans to retaliate in self-defense, but not to initiate a conflict. The US government lied. It is waging a war of aggression, in flagrant violation of international law.     I for one didn’t see it coming! He campaigned on no new wars, lower costs, higher employment, and releasing the Epstien files on day 1. Generally he’s been great at keeping promises. (/s if it weren’t obvious)
