Not scrolling social media in the morning. My phone has focus mode where certain apps are greyed out between 8am and 11am. It effectively turns them invisible to your brain, making it much less likely to select and engage. Just creating an extra step and a time limit helps you realize that there’s other stuff to do. In the morning, if you don’t deplete your daily dopamine allotment, you can do all sorts of good things. Don’t beat yourself up if you decide to look at the apps one morning, but take note of how shitty you feel afterwards.
I started working out early which made me feel better, then reading more which improved my attention. My life changed pretty drastically in the following 2 years, to the point where everyone was asking what did you do?! It really is that simple lol
