    About time the US consumers paid the same for gas as the rest of us. It’s still way cheaper but getting there.

    Maybe they’ll soon understand the reason why the rest of the world is looking at alternative energy sources

      This was my first thought at the news. That plus we’ve seen higher than this before if you conside inflation. Still not getting paid adjusted for inflation, but that’s a different topic, and part of why these prices seem high.

      Higher prices also encourage less usage, which is what we ought to be doing anyway. And yes, we live in a society that is very dependent on using, but we have to change somehow.
