Supporting Evidence

Constantine (2005) - Logo swept away by the fires of hell
The Simpsons (2007) - Ralph Wiggum trumps out the fanfare
Scott Pilgrim (2010) - Universal logo rendered as 8-bit animation
Pitch Perfect (2012) - Universal theme sung a cappella
Upgrade (2018) - Studio credits read by ominous System Shock type voice
Bob’s Burgers (2022) - altered FOX fanfare audio.
Spider-Men in Spider-Verses (2018/2023) - Multiversal glitches

Hypothesis

Film makers invested so much in their own product that they’ve got around to thinking about how the studio credits play out are dedicated to making a good movie

Criteria (edited)

Due to eligibility requirements (published separately), some films have had to be excluded. These include The Flintstones (1994), Waterworld (1995), Matrix Resurrections (2021) and Tomorrowland (2015). I am however confident that these exclusions don’t affect the validity of my theory, and am confident in going forward.

Have you seen a film with transformed credits that was actually dog pops?
If not, I’ll go work this up and submit it to the relevant journals.

As to the first, it’s not the Simpsons, but may be either Alpine for You (Popeye short, 1951) or The Mouse That Roared (1959). If you don’t want to go down a rabbit hole for many hours, do NOT click the following link. This was the result of great obsession, and I’m very impressed. Good luck on your dataset!

I’m starting to think I can’t compete. Thanks for the link, though.
