Join the unofficial GPD Win handheld Discord for tech support, chat, news, etc. I know Discord is thoroughly enshittifiying itself at a rapid pace, but until there’s a better alternative, this is one of the most active communities for the GPD devices, with participation from company representatives as well (though the discord is not owned or operated by GPD):
Can’t say I disagree. I hate that forums are dying/have died. But I guess that’s typical, I came from IRC and forums and still prefer those to what we have now.
That said, the reason I posted it is because the Discord has thousands of active users, so whether or not I love the format, it does seem to be the most populated place to go to get information. Full disclosure, I’m also a moderator on the Discord, so I am undoubtedly biased.
