    I’m all for the draft on one very strict condition; it has to be truly random with no way for rich kids to get mommy and daddy to buy them out of it or into a cushy assignment. When the rich kids have an equal chance of dying in oil wars, there won’t be so many oil wars.

        I wasn’t really offering it as a solution to the current problem. I’m just saying that I don’t believe the current problem would exist if, for the past 10 years or more, rich kids were candidate fodder for the meat grinder.
