Yeah right. State ownership and control through party elites is not socialism. It’s just capitalism with extra steps. Yugoslavia was closer to socialism after it’s break with the Soviet Union and actually turning stuff into worker owned workplace democracies mostly independent of state management.
And China absolutely moved even further away from socialism. Socialism shouldn’t have people who earn 10,000 times more than others (see billionaires) for same or less work.
