I clicked a link in a comment, which took me to a community. The navigation bar vanished within that community. It came back when I left that community.

Do you happen to know which tab you were on when you clicked the community link?

I believe I was on Feed, with All sorted by new.

I shall take a look and see if I can replicate, thank you!

This is the link I clicked on.

Edit: I was logged into a fanaticus.social account when I clicked. Here’s the standard link.

Edit 2: and clicking it again here reproduced it for me.

Yep, I can replicate that and it looks like something weird is going on with the load. Will fix in 1.0.1

This should be fixed in the latest build.

Hey Steve. This issue reappeared in 1.0.4.

Do you have any examples of links? Is it the new link detection I’ve added or the existing links that were there before?

Sure. The link I clicked was actually from another post in this Community: https://lemmy.world/c/football

And I noticed the link I previously gave in this post as an example now returns “Unmatched Route,” but I think worked when I posted it.

Hi there! Looks like you linked to a Lemmy community using a URL instead of its name, which doesn’t work well for people on different instances. Try fixing it like this: [email protected]

Yeah I can see that; it looks like the regex I’m using to detect these unlinked links is causing issues. I’ll revert in a patch and take another look.
