This was in fact quite the pain, cuz i forgot to set my cam to .jpg in reduced resolution.
Ended up with several hundred RAW pictures, had to convert em to .jpg and then used to Kdenlive to turn em into a video and export as gif in reduced resolution…
Yup, it’s a pain to scale and crop to get to a manageable file size. Another option is to shoot a video and use something like gifski to convert to a .gif.
i still love the gif image format tho, compared to webm things just stay so much sharper because there in no interframe compression, webm or mp4 always turns out smeared
