Absolutely insane.
I can’t wrap my head around how some believe that physical punishment of a child is ok in any circumstances. At school, at home, anywhere. Doesn’t matter. Don’t hit children.
It’s extremely primitive, and you’ve only shown your own desperation and inability to handle the situation. Find a better solution.
I developed serious anxiety issues from corporal punishment, but to adults I looked like an obedient and nonviolent child, which was preferable to them. So messed up. I’m in my 30s and I still haven’t fully recovered from social anxiety issues
Don’t hit people (*unless it’s self defense, then you should destroy a MF).
