Yea so article mentions nothing about this. Let these people waste their money. I’d rather see this. Then no local subsidies or tax breaks or whatever for property used. No constant over consumption of water / electricity like a local data center. No acoustic / other disturbance to local areas where new data centers being built. I really can’t wait for this stupid AI fad to break. Unfortunately seems like it’s going to be here to stay.
AI fad is bound by circular financing of self-perpetuating infatuation mixed with delusion so it will be quite a while before the reality sends big tech to dick kick city.
