What can I say? I’m not even a U.S. citizen, but I’m still affected by the devastating policies of this fascist regime - though, as a European, far less so than people in other countries around the world.
It is what it is: The US is ruled by organized crime, which has now abandoned all scruples. No one but US citizens can change that.
I myself am already doing what I can: Since early 2025, I have been boycotting all US products available for purchase here, advocating with our governments to reduce existing dependencies on the US government and US tech corporations wherever possible, and trying to point out that civil resistance in the US is certainly possible (this has worked even in countries that were suppressed by brute force, such as India, which won its independence from England through nonviolent struggle).
Nevertheless, unfortunately, things remain as they are: on paper, the U.S. is a democratic country that elects its government democratically (we all know this is more of a farce). Therefore, I cannot help but point out here as well that in democratic countries, it is precisely the responsibility of the respective population to depose a regime that abuses its power as devastatingly as these fascists do.
The reason: It is not just the US that suffers from this.
I am sorry, and I am fully aware of the situation facing U.S. citizens; nevertheless, I can only point out that things will only get worse unless Americans finally rise up against their own exploitation.
