I tried to find evidence of this on marine traffic, but I wasn’t able to find either the USS Michael Murphy or USS Frank F. Peterson in search. If the claim that they turned on their AIS is true, it should be possible to find them on marine traffic, could you see if you’re able to find them?
To be clear: I was being genuine when I asked about this. I tried searching marine traffic myself, and couldn’t find the vessel. This wasn’t some kind of “gotcha” attempt, I was genuinely interested in seeing convincing proof.
Multiple sources parroting the same CENTCOM clown.
I see no proof.
And so the they went through unchallenged, which they couldn’t come close to doing, but still orange man is going to block the Straight for other ships if negotiations fail.
Why would that be necessary if they have these super duper ships that don’t even get attacked?
I really can’t believe anyone would fall for this BS, it’s beyond laughable.
Did you even attempt to do some research before your assettions? There are multiple sources using open source information, quoting non-us military radio recordings, and quoting more than centcom.
It’s not my job to spoon feed you. Do some research.
There are multiple sources reporting, and apparently the destroyers even turned on AIS and there are recordings of the destroyers being warned. I’m certain you can find other sources that are acceptable to you with a quick search.
Plus, they’re destroyers. Transiting dangerous waters to escort other ships is one of their missions.

Here it is: https://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais/details/ships/shipid:7771657/mmsi:303966000/imo:0/vessel:US GOV VESSEL 112
What is the evidence indicating that this “unspecified US vessel” is one of the mentioned destroyers?
Click the link above, then click vessel characteristics. You’ll see it’s an arleigh burke destroyer, has the right number, and the right name.
You could also look up the MMSI yourself to see if they match.
Thanks! Good detective work :)

LOL
So you can’t provide ANY proof of this idiotic claim, thanks.
