Biden did not sell weapons for the purpose of genocide. I get you cannot accept that and will never blame Israel for Israeli war crimes, why is that I wonder? 🤔

Biden did not sell weapons for the purpose of genocide.

He sold them for no other purpose.

I get you cannot accept that and will never blame Israel for Israeli war crimes, why is that I wonder?

I don’t like being complicit in genocide. You worship anyone who murders Palestinians for you.

As stated repeatedly, the weapons were sold for the legitimate defense of Israel, notably from repeated attacks by Iran.

        https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cpvne94v1rdo

“The president has made clear Israel has a right to defend its citizens, consistent with international law and international humanitarian law, and to deter aggression from Iran and its proxy organisations.”

Israel then misappropriated those weapons for use in the genocide.

Again, Israeli crimes, committed by Israel. Not that you actually care about blaming Israel for Israeli war crimes.

And everyone knew they would. It’s why biden sold them.

Biden’s not going to come out and admit it, and so you will accept nothing else.

No, he won’t, but you can read every single thing he has said and can clearly see 2 things:

                1. He does not support genocide, never has.

                2. He does believe Israel has a right to exist and defend itself.

He is remarkably consistent on both points.

Now, it’s fair to argue Netanyahu abused his good nature and took advantage of him, which is 110% a fair argument, and, again, speaks to the bad intent on the Israeli side of the operation.

The most you can say is Israel engaged in elder abuse. You can’t say Biden supported the genocide.

It’s not about naivety. Biden legitimately believes in the project that is Israel, a project that has been perverted by Netanyahu and Likud.

This is one of the reasons Biden was so pissed at them behind the scenes, but he absolutely will not betray the larger Israel because Biden is of the era where Israel were victims. You and I both know that hasn’t been true for our entire lifetimes, but like I say, Biden’s a different generation.

You’re assuming ill intent on Biden’s part because you have this deep seated need to blame him instead of Israel.

In the end, Biden got played by Netanyahu. Trump is actively working with them. That’s the key difference.

                    https://www.timesofisrael.com/biden-said-to-call-netanyahu-a-fking-liar-after-israeli-troops-entered-rafah/

“US President Joe Biden called Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu a “fucking liar” after IDF troops went into Rafah, and yelled at the premier after an Israeli Air Force strike took out a top Hezbollah commander, according to an upcoming book by US journalist Bob Woodward.”

                    https://www.israelnationalnews.com/news/397305

“According to Woodward, after the elimination of Hezbollah’s second-highest ranking figure Fuad Shukr, Biden was furious with Netanyahu and told him: “Bibi, what the f-?” Biden added, “You know the perception of Israel around the world increasingly is that you’re a rogue state, a rogue actor.””

                    https://www.cnn.com/2024/10/08/politics/bob-woodward-book-war-joe-biden-putin-netanyahu-trump

“That son of a bitch, Bibi Netanyahu, he’s a bad guy. He’s a bad fucking guy!” Biden declared privately about the Israeli prime minister to one of his associates in the spring of 2024 as Israel’s war in Gaza intensified, Woodward writes.
