It’s so limiting because of how locked down iOS is. I can do a lot with an NFC tag but can’t make a VCard work. That’s the one thing I really want to work! HAHA. Any ideas? Any news on Apple making this work eventually?

Just in case, for the sake of multi-platform local file transfers, there’s a quite nice project known as LocalSend, and it should be supported for all the platforms, since there are clients for desktop (Linux, Windows, macOS), Android, and iOS, and for the general web clients, too:
